🌈 Kurashiki, the Little Town That Heals All Blues ❤️

✅ The historic small town of Kurashiki in Okayama Prefecture, Japan, has a history of over 400 years and is a cultural town as renowned as Kyoto and Nara, but with significantly fewer people. Its architecture, waterways, and cuisine are all remarkable, making it an ideal place to dedicate a whole day to explore. Here's a guide for you; trust me, you'll fall in love~ 🍁 Must-Visit in Kurashiki: Ohashi Museum of Art Located next to the Kurashiki River, the Ohashi Museum of Art is a Western-style building with a discreet entrance. However, this museum, established in 1930, houses an impressive collection of works from world-class artists such as Gauguin, Monet, El Greco, Cézanne, Picasso, and Chagall. It's definitely worth a visit. PS. Note that Kurashiki is closed on Mondays, so plan your time accordingly. 📌 If you're planning an in-depth exploration of Western Japan, highly recommend the 🌟 JR Kansai Wide Area Rail Pass, which allows you to visit places like Okayama and Kurashiki. The pass was quite cost-effective when I used it. ☝🏻 For extended travel, the Kansai & Hiroshima Area Rail Pass is a great deal. You can ride the Sanyo Shinkansen (Shin-Osaka—Hiroshima) in designated seats, the Hello Kitty Shinkansen (reservations required in advance), and all limited express, express, and local trains within the JR West network. Even the JR West Miyajima ferry is included. ☝🏻 However, note that the Sanyo Shinkansen (Hiroshima—Fukuoka), Tokaido Shinkansen (Shin-Osaka—Tokyo), and Kyushu Shinkansen (Fukuoka—Kagoshima-Chuo) are not included. You can learn more about the details when you get there. 💪🏻 In summary, it's not just for Okayama, but also for those planning in-depth trips to Kobe, Nara, Hiroshima, and Miyajima, this pass is truly a great value! 📌 Here are some recommended attractions within the scope of the Kansai & Hiroshima Area Rail Pass: Hiroshima Prefecture - Genbaku (A-bomb) Dome Kobe - Mount Rokko Nara - Nara Park Miyajima - Itsukushima Shrine #JapanTravel #JapanTravelGuide #JapanTourism #JapanFreeTravel #JapaneseFoodAndFun #CulturalAttractionsSharing #CityExplorationPlan #OffTheBeatenPath #MyTravelDiary #Travel
