Kyoto | FUFU KYOTO Hotel Private Hot Spring + Kaiseki Cuisine (1)πͺ΄
Looking for a hot spring hotel in Kyoto to unwind, but with a minor issue that prevents me from using public baths, I chose FUFU KYOTO. ππΈ The hotel features a private hot spring in the room, conveniently located next to Nanzen-ji Temple, close to the Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art and Kyoto Zoo. There's also a very unique Blue Bottle coffee shop nearby. πΏ In the evening, I booked a kaiseki dining experience. You can wear the yukata provided by the hotel to the restaurant. The meal consists of 8 courses: ππΈ πΉ KYO NO MEGUMI Appetizer Bamboo shoots, crosnes, carrots, radish, fried tofu, boiled Japanese tiger prawns, mushrooms cooked in butter, mustard leaves, tofu cream sauce, crushed miso stems, sprouts, and edible flowers. πΏ πΉ OWAN Soup ππΈWhite miso soup with pickled turnip, rapeseed (tofu skin), carrot, and mustard sauce. π² πΉ SEN TO HIASOBI Sashimi & Grilled Seafood Tuna and mackerel sashimi with carrot leaves, sudachi, soy sauce, and wasabi. Grilled clams and grilled eel (to be cooked on a small stove at the table). #Kyoto πΈ
