Kyoto | Smart Coffee Without the Line πΏ
I passed by around 8 a.m. and was surprised to see a line already forming. ππ That's when I learned that Smart Coffee has been around since 1932βit's nearly a century old! π βοΈ Smart Coffee π€ Opening Hours: 8:00-19:00 β How to Avoid the Queue? Head over around 6 p.m., and you'll likely skip the line altogether. ππ The last order is usually taken between 6:30 and 6:40 p.m., so to be safe, aim to arrive between 6:00 and 6:20 p.m. π π The Menu: There are three sets to choose fromβpudding, French toast, and muffins, all served with coffee. π My Choice: I went for the French toast with hot coffee set. The coffee was decent, but the French toast was delightful! It had a rich eggy aroma and a slightly crispy crust. π₯ͺ πΏπIf you're planning to have dinner late, this makes for a perfect mid-afternoon snack. βοΈ The Ambiance: The decor is very vintage, right down to the hand-drawn bills. It's quite an authentic experience! πΏ Definitely worth a visit if you can avoid the long lines. πΏπ #Japan #Kyoto #KyotoCoffee #SmartCoffeeπ
