Kyoto Free Travel: Strolling the Philosopher’s Path 🍃✨
The Philosopher’s Path is a pedestrian walkway that became famous thanks to Nishida Kitaro, the founder of the Kyoto School of Philosophy and a renowned professor at Kyoto University. 🎢🌸 Along with his disciples Tanabe Hajime and Miki Kiyoshi, he often walked this path while pondering philosophical questions. 🌿🌇 In 1972, it was officially named the Philosopher’s Path. Stretching 2 kilometers, the path is paved with large stone slabs and follows a clear, flowing stream. 🎢🌸 Along the way, you’ll find benches, quaint shops, and the Nomura Art Museum. The surrounding houses are framed by red maple trees, creating a serene and contemplative atmosphere unique to Kyoto. 🌿🌇 Walking here, you can’t help but feel a sense of tranquility, as if everyone around you is also reflecting on life. #NomuraArtMuseum #PhilosophersPath 🌊
