Kyoto Imperial Palace Garden, Almost in Full Bloom! 🌸

This photo was taken on March 26th last year. 🎢🌟 This year, the blooming season is a few days later, but it's coming soon—definitely by early April! Take the subway to Imadegawa Station or Marutamachi Station, and it's just a five-minute walk from there. 🎢🌟 The entire garden is accessible all day, but if you want to visit the Imperial Palace itself, you need to make a reservation in advance. 🌸🍃Actually, you don't even need to go inside; the cherry blossoms outside are more than enough to enjoy. 🌸 Here are three must-see spots: First, head straight to the "Sakura on the Left" as soon as you enter. 🎢🌟 This old cherry blossom tree is so majestic, with its branches stretching out in all directions. It looks amazing against the backdrop of the ancient architecture. 🌸🍃 After that, wander north to the area near the Munakata Shrine, where there's a quiet cherry blossom grove. You can also pay a visit to the shrine and pray for a safe journey. If you want to have a picnic, bring a blanket to the Kamogawa River. 🌸🍃 Locals love to relax and sunbathe there, and when the cherry petals fall, it feels just like a Japanese drama! 🍎 Try to go early in the morning or in the evening for the best light and to avoid tour groups. 🌸🍃 There aren't as many tour groups as at Kiyomizu-dera, but there are still quite a few. So, while it's not exactly a "crowd-free" spot, the convenience of the transportation makes up for it. 🚌 🌸🍃 #ExchangeSpring #BlossomUpdate 🌅
