Kyoto One-Day Itinerary(2)

Hiking: This part is the most tiring of the day; the map says it's a 5-minute walk, but in reality, it's much farther and involves climbing uphill. 🎢🌟 It takes about 20-30 minutes to reach the main shrine (where the water fortune-telling is). 🌿 🌺Continue Hiking to the Inner Shrine: If you keep going, it's another 20 minutes or so to the Inner Shrine. There's also a Jisha along the way, which we passed but didn't visit. 🎢🌟 At the entrance of the Inner Shrine, there's a beautiful cedar forest. 🌲 🌺 Descending from the Inner Shrine: Going downhill from the Inner Shrine is faster, taking about 30 minutes to reach the bus stop. 🚌 Take the Bus Back to Kifune Station. 🚌 🎢🌟 Return by Train to Demizu: In the evening, if you pass by the maple corridor, the train will slow down and turn off the lights, giving you a 4D game-like experience. 🌇 After Getting Off at Demizu: You can continue to take the subway to Shijo for some shopping. 🛍️ This route is mainly for maple leaf viewing. If the leaves aren't red, the experience won't be as good. 🌺 I wouldn't recommend it for those who don't like natural scenery. 🍂 #Sanzen-in #Kifune Shrine #Kyoto 🌺
