Kyoto Sento Imperial Palace🌸🍃
After the fire in 1854 (the first year of the An'ei era), the building complex of the Sento Imperial Palace was not reconstructed, leaving only the garden and teahouses. 🌸🍃 Later, the Omiya Palace's main hall was combined and renovated to serve as the royal family's residence in Kyoto, forming the current scale. 🌿 Apart from the Omiya Palace, there are no particularly exquisite buildings. 🌸🍃 Under the typical one-pond-three-hills garden design, there is not much variation, and there is no Zen sense like in temple karesansui (dry landscape) gardens. 🌇 Visits to the Sento Imperial Palace are not self-guided; they are accompanied by staff who provide explanations (in Japanese). 🌸🍃 Audio guides (in Chinese and English) are available for rent at the registration desk, and a royal police officer will also accompany you. 🌿 🎫 Booking: On-site reservation 📅 Hours: 09:30 AM - 04:30 PM 📍 Address: 2 Kyoto Gyoen, Kamigyo-ku, Kyoto, Kyoto Prefecture 602-0881 #FormerKorakuenGarden 🌿 #JapaneseGarden 🌿 #Gardens 🌿
