LA’s Best Value Korean Food|Jang Tuh Bossam 🇰🇷✨
Located in Ktown, this spot sits in a huge plaza with free parking! 🅿️💥 Walked in and saw tons of Korean uncles happily drinking and chatting—always a good sign! 🍻😄 Here’s what we ordered: 1️⃣ Pork Backbone Soup 🍖🥔 Their signature dish! The portion was massive—I was shocked! The pork spine bones were longer and thicker than my forearm, simmered with potatoes, instant noodles, and napa cabbage. Scallions and perilla leaves added extra flavor—so hearty and satisfying! 2️⃣ Spicy Glazed Pig Hock Set 🌶️🐖 Another specialty! The sweet and spicy braised pork knuckle was packed with flavor—perfect with beer! 🍺 3️⃣ Korean Beef BBQ 🥩🔥 They offer beef, pork, chicken, squid, and mackerel—we went with beef. It was tender, juicy, and grilled with onions, carrots, and green beans. 4️⃣ Hot Bibimbap 🍚🍳 I’m a huge bibimbap fan—who else gets it?! This one uses purple rice for a healthier twist, topped with spinach, carrots, mushrooms, zucchini, beef, and a fried egg. Sprinkled with sesame seeds and mixed with gochujang—simple, tasty, and nutritious! 5️⃣ Cold Radish Noodle 🥒🍜 You can’t skip naengmyeon as spring turns to summer! The broth was tangy and spicy, paired with chewy noodles, spinach, cucumber, egg, and sliced brisket—so refreshing! In a few words: authentic, generous, and downright delicious! We couldn’t finish everything—took leftovers home and ate for another full day! 😂📦 Have you been to Jang Tuh Bossam or another Korean gem in LA?
