LA’s Delicious Mexican Gem – KA‘TEEN 🌮✨

This Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine’s Day), my boyfriend found an amazing Mexican restaurant with great vibes, delicious food, and beautiful presentation—KA‘TEEN 🇲🇽 We had a wonderful experience—the food was fantastic, the atmosphere was incredible, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. 💫❤️ The garden seating at night offers a gorgeous view, making it perfect for a romantic date. 🌿🌙 We started with the LECHE DE TIGRE CAMPECHANA—a refreshing appetizer served in a coconut shell 🥥, featuring tuna, scallop, and avocado, with a side of chili oil. It had just the right kick and was beautifully balanced. Perfect with the accompanying corn chips! We absolutely loved the BONE MARROW—three generous pieces served with sweet, toasted bread 🍞. Rich, flavorful, and totally addictive. Highly recommend! For the main, we chose COCHINITA PIBIL—succulent pork neck marinated in their special sauce. It was incredibly tender and flavorful! 🐖💥 It came with pickled onions, carrots, and chili on the side, which you can mix and match. Every main also includes their homemade mini tortillas—so good!!! We also added a side of CORN ESQUITE—cheesy corn that was irresistibly fragrant and delicious. I finished every last bit! 🌽🧀 Since we were celebrating our anniversary, they surprised us with dessert and champagne. 🍮🥂 The staff were so kind—it really made the night special. We’ll definitely be back! We booked right before sunset and enjoyed the full transition into evening, but next time we’d love to try a later reservation for even cozier vibes with the bonfire lit. 🔥 After dinner, the team even invited us upstairs to their party, but it was getting late so we headed out.
