I’d always heard that RH Ocean Grill was known as one of Southern California’s most beautiful restaurants — and the hardest to get into! Thanks to a persistent LA friend who kept refreshing the booking page, we snagged a cancellation for 4:30 PM — golden hour! 🌅 The restaurant is located in Newport Beach, not far from Irvine. If you arrive early, you can explore the Fashion Island shopping center downstairs. It has popular brands like Alo, Arc’teryx, Lululemon, and luxury stores like LV and Chanel. The mall is spacious and not too crowded — my kind of vibe! Below the restaurant is an RH furniture gallery — styled in upscale American decor, like a premium version of Markor Fine Home. If you love browsing home goods, it’s worth a stroll. 🛋️👗 The restaurant only lets guests in at their reserved time. The combination of golden sunset views and chic interiors makes for an unforgettable photo backdrop 📸✨. Food-wise, it’s mostly seafood-focused 🦞. When ingredients are this fresh, it’s hard to go wrong — nothing mind-blowing, but definitely satisfying.
