🦢 LA’s Hidden Gem Park | What a fairyland on earth!

I can’t believe I lived in LA for so long and didn’t know that just ten minutes from Santa Monica and three minutes from The Getty Villa, there is such a hidden paradise.🦢 This park is mainly used for meditation and is free to visit but requires advance booking. Nestled in the mountains, it’s surrounded by lush green trees and fragrant roses. The central lake is a brilliant emerald green, glistening in the sunlight, home to two beautiful white swans, a group of playful ducklings, countless large koi, and several leisurely turtles – it’s so tranquil.🦢 There are many different styles of buildings and benches around the central lake for meditation and sitting, and because it’s a reservation-only park, it’s not too crowded. The serene scenery seems to truly purify the mind and body. Kids also have a great time here. The Visitor Center in the garden even provides food packs for children to feed the swans and fish. Feeding swans in such a fairyland is a wonderful life experience! 🕑 - Open from Wednesday to Sunday. Reservations required. Two arrival times are offered daily: • 10:00 AM • 1:00 PM On Sundays, only the 1:00 PM arrival time is available due to morning temple services. 🗓️ - Reservations for the following week open every Saturday at 10:00 AM. Bookings are per car, and each car can include up to six people. #wheretogoonweekendsinLA #fairyland #laparkrecommendations #LosAngelesparks #LosAngeleslife #LosAngeleswithkids #greatplacesforkidsinLA
