🌟 LA’s Michelin-Starred French Cuisine is So Delicious! 🤤

🇫🇷 Mélisse Restaurant 📍 1104 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, CA, 90401 There aren’t as many Michelin-starred restaurants in LA as in New York, so I was torn between Providence and Mélisse. So glad I ended up choosing Mélisse! I was truly impressed with every dish — you can really taste the thought and creativity behind them. Though it’s on the pricier side, it’s absolutely worth it. This meal left me stuffed and happy! 😋 If I had to nitpick, the dining space is a bit tight… maybe all the room went to its sister restaurant Citrin? 🙄 🍴 Dish Highlights ✨ Amuse-bouche – The perfect start: refreshing, appetizing, and full of delicate flavors. ✨ Hokkaido Uni in Crispy Sphere – The crispy shell had amazing texture, and the uni added a luxurious complexity. ✨ Lobster Bisque – A French classic, executed flawlessly. ✨ Maine Stoneington Scallop – Cooked to perfection 👌 ✨ Veal Sweetbread – My first time trying sweetbread — so tender and rich with a delicate fattiness. ✨ Aged Duck – Aged beautifully, with a texture like high-end filet mignon. The sauce took it to another level. ✨ Dessert – Super fancy and creative, with a unique style. Definitely a meal to remember! 🍷✨ #100RestaurantsChallenge #LAFood #LARestaurantExploration #HiddenGemRestaurant #MichelinStarExperience #WineAndDine #FoodDiary #GoodFoodGoodLife #RestaurantRecommendation #FoodieApproved
