LAβs New Pretty Food Spot! β¨ Finally Had My Favorite Uni Toast π
Recently discovered a cute wine bar in Silver Lake β perfect for dates and they have my beloved uni toast!! π½ Starters: Sonmari Mul-hwe β a beautiful snapper dish with kimchi-style sauce underneath, super refreshing. Maguro Manaka β tuna topped with uni, caviar, and flower-shaped crackers. One bite = pure bliss. π Uni Toast is back and better than ever! Their version has a slow-cooked runny egg yolk in the middle, paired with sweet, fresh uniβ¦ so satisfying. π£ We also tried sushi and hand rolls β The hand rolls come with a wooden stick to wrap the nori, then you pull it out so it holds shape (they even give instructions!). Seared salmon hand roll β highly recommended, so fragrant. Sweet shrimp sushi β comes with the fried shrimp head β crispy and delicious. π° Dessert β deserves major praise! A black sesame chestnut cake with frozen cream in the middle β not too sweet, absolutely genius.
