🦆 LA’s Roast Duck GOD – Looks Average But Tastes LEGENDARY! 🤯
I was so stunned watching the chef expertly slice the duck tableside that I totally forgot to take a photo 😅 But trust me — this roast duck is even better than DaDong’s famous “Su Bu Ni”! Even after it cooled down, the skin stayed perfectly crispy and the meat remained juicy and flavorful 😭 A half duck is around $50+, and each one is roasted fresh in the traditional oven. The pancake wrappers are the best I’ve ever had — soft, thin, and super elastic! 💯 ⚠️ But here’s the real game-changer: For just +$10, you get Cumin Duck Frame 🦆🔥 and Duck Soup — and they’re so good they could be standalone dishes worth $40+! The cumin-seasoned duck frame is loaded with chili peppers, green peppers, mountain peppers, and dried chilies — plus 5-6 giant crispy duck necks that are pure heaven 🤯 The duck soup is packed with tender duck meat, cabbage, and tofu — the flavor is rich and comforting, almost like Yan Du Xian. 🐷 We also tried the Dongpo Pork ($12 per portion) Braised pork with chopped chili and a light wine aroma — I usually avoid red braised meat, but I couldn’t stop eating this! It’s an absolute rice-killer 🍚⚡ I had no idea the Meizhou Dongpo in LA would be this incredible 😍 Turns out the Century City location is their global flagship + Michellin-recognized spot 🏆 At $60–$80 per person, it’s totally worth the experience! #LAEats #LARoastDuck #MeizhouDongpo #ChineseFoodHeaven #ComfortFood #DuckLovers
