LA’s Roe Soup Heaven! Anyone Else Love This? 🐟
I’m obsessed with roe soup (al tang), but it’s so rare in LA Korean spots. When you do find it, it’s usually expensive with barely any roe.👌❤️ But today’s spot blew my mind — $22.99 for a bowl packed with roe, enough to share between two! No fishy taste, just savory, umami-rich broth. Might take some getting used to at first, but once you’re hooked — you’re hooked! Besides the roe soup, their baby octopus stone pot bibimbap was a pleasant surprise.👍😍 Perfect for two — perilla leaves, seaweed flakes, chewy octopus, crispy rice at the bottom… Smells amazing and eats like that final fried rice course at Korean BBQ — so satisfying! For meat lovers: spicy braised pork ribs — fall-off-the-bone tender, classic Korean sweet-spicy flavor. I find pork ribs less heavy than beef ribs, more my style. If you prefer fish, their grilled fish has crispy skin and tender flesh. 📍 Mindeulle in Chino Hills The manager says their marinated raw crab is also great — but we ordered too much seafood today to try it. They also have bossam, Korean hot pots, and homestyle Korean dishes. #LAFood #LAExploration #LALife #LAEats #ChinoHillsFood #LAKoreanFood 🥘
