LA｜A Must-Visit Cemetery for Movie Lovers 🎬✨

【Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park】 I originally visited to see Marilyn Monroe’s grave, but discovered many more celebrities resting here—making it a perfect spot for film buffs to pay respects. 🕊️📽️ Marilyn’s tomb is located on a wall niche—easy to find, usually where a small crowd gathers. (Fun fact: Hugh Hefner is buried right next to her… talk about resting in “company”! 🙄) I also went looking for Jack Lemmon’s grave (in a quieter, more secluded section), and was surprised to find Billy Wilder right beside him! His epitaph reads: "Nobody's Perfect." —the iconic closing line from Some Like It Hot. It felt special to honor three legends from the same film in one visit. 🎭❤️ Director Edward Yang is also buried here, but we searched for over half an hour and couldn’t find his grave—it felt like the cemetery scene from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly! 🫠 If anyone has located it, please share where it is! 🫶🏻 📍 Location: Near UCLA in Westwood—easy to combine with a campus visit. 🅿️ Parking: We worried about parking and used a paid garage farther away, but later saw visitors parking freely inside the cemetery along the pathways.
