LA|Alba 🇮🇹 Italian Cuisine 🍽️

Delicious, but not as mind-blowing as I imagined. The restaurant ambiance, however, is absolutely stunning — though a bit noisy. Coming at 5:30 PM during daylight saving time with the sun still up would probably be gorgeous too! Easier to book tables for two with more time slots available — larger groups have fewer options. What we ordered: 🍑 Cocktail TOTTI A peach Negroni — really tasty and recommended! 🥖 FOCACCIA DELLA CASA Focaccia bread — many rave about it, but I found it just okay. Good texture: crispy crust, soft inside, but not extraordinary. 🦐 SHRIMP TRAPANESE Sicilian Trapani-style shrimp with a nutty, oily flavor — super salty, better as a bar snack. 🐟 HAMACHI CRUDO Not my favorite. Passionfruit added a tangy, refreshing layer to the raw yellowtail, but something felt off. Also quite salty — another dish best paired with drinks. 🦀 TAGLIOLINI (Crab Meat Pasta) This was delicious! 🍝 Well-balanced flavor, not too salty, and the pasta had a perfect al dente bite — highly recommended! 🥩 FILET TOSCANO (Steak) Solid choice — you can’t go wrong with this one. Served with a mirabelle plum sauce that cut through the richness, plus cauliflower and sweet white onions. Even the onions were wonderfully fragrant! 👩‍🍳 Service was great — the server knew the menu well. After mentioning my allergy, she pointed out which dishes contained it and whether they could be modified. She also double-checked with me — much appreciated! 👍 💸 Total for two: $200+ #LAFood #ItalianCuisine #RestaurantRecommendation #VibesDining #PrettyMeals #FoodDiary
