The team behind beloved Roman pasta spot Bacetti Trattoria just opened Bar Bacetti—an intimate Italian aperitivo bar in Echo Park. Think spirited drinks, salty snacks, and that perfect golden-hour glow. 🌅 We visited during aperitivo hour (3–5pm), where drinks come with complimentary small bites! We tried the Castelvetrano olives (with star anise, orange peel, bay leaf) and gnocco fritto (fried dough with cured meats). Drinks (all non-alcoholic for the kiddos): ☕ Shakerato – Iced espresso with almond syrup. 🍊 Sanbitter – Classic Italian bitter soda. 🥤 Chinotto – Citrusy Italian soft drink. Plus: 🐙 Insalata di Polpo – Octopus salad with fennel and olives. 🍕 Salsiccia Pizza – Sausage, kale, chili, mozzarella. (Note: Pizza is now only served here—except Wednesdays when the bar is closed and Bacetti Trattoria offers it instead.) Walk-ins only, no reservations.
