Finally got to try this place I’ve been dreaming about for over a year! Scoring a reservation here feels like winning the lottery—it’s all about snatching last-minute cancellations! This time, I decided to show up before opening to wait for a walk-in spot. The place was packed shortly after we sat down! Tucked in a cozy space, with everyone chatting over glasses of wine, I absolutely adore the vibe of this Italian wine bar 🇮🇹. That said, maybe my expectations were too high—the food, while delicious, didn’t completely blow me away. Here’s what we ordered: 🍞 Garlic Bread The crust was perfectly crispy, while the inside stayed soft and soaked in garlicky goodness. Loaded with herbs and topped with a generous layer of Parmesan cheese! 🦐 Shrimp Scampi A standout dish! The shrimp were plump and juicy, and the garlic butter sauce was rich and savory. Dipping the bread into the sauce was a game-changer! 🍝 Spaghetti & Clams A refreshing pasta with a bright, tangy sauce. The Manila clams were sweet and tender. A squeeze of lemon and a sip of chilled white wine 🍋, and I was instantly transported to a seaside town in Southern Italy 🏝️. 🍗 Chicken Parmesan A bit different from what I expected. While the chicken wasn’t dry, the coating lacked crispiness and felt slightly soggy 🙂‍↔️. Maybe the frying temperature wasn’t high enough to lock in the juices. 🍝 Lasagna Rollatini Haven’t had lasagna in a while! It came in a smaller portion than I anticipated, but the meat sauce was rich and robust, with cheese and tomato sauce blending harmoniously.
