LA|Is This Really a Hardware Store? 🤫✨
Laurel Hardware is the kind of place where you instantly slow down once you sit down. 🌿 It has that classic LA relaxed vibe – so hard not to love. Converted from an old hardware store into a white standalone house, it’s filled with natural light and greenery, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces. It’s refreshingly quiet – hardly any “posing-for-photos” energy. Day and night offer totally different moods – I definitely want to come back for brunch! ☀️ The cuisine is New American / California-style – quality ingredients, subtle seasoning, nothing overdone. Just genuinely enjoyable eating. 🍣 Spicy Salmon Tartare I really love tartare – and this one delivers both in looks and flavor. Fresh and nicely layered, I’d order it again. 🥦 Roasted Cauliflower I usually don’t love cauliflower, but this dish won me over. It’s unique – you just have to try it yourself! 🌚 🦆 Duck Fried Rice Not something you’d expect in a place like this, but it works. The duck is crispy outside, tender inside, and not too oily. The rice is perfectly fluffy. 🥩 Steak A bit dry – I’d skip it next time. 🍟 Fries We skipped the truffle version – these were just okay, nothing special. 🍹 Juice Box Margarita (non-alcoholic) A refreshing citrus blend, tangy and sweet in balance. So easy to drink! (Many cocktails can be made alcohol-free!) 💰 Price With steak + a drink, it came to $100+ per person. But skipping those would bring it down to around $60+ for a satisfying meal. ✨ Overall: A genuinely comfortable space with distinctive dishes – not a gimmick spot, but somewhere I’d return to slowly explore the menu. Already planning my next visit! 🥰 📍 Laurel Hardware – West Hollywood 7984 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90046 #LaurelHardware #LAEats #WestHollywood #CaliforniaCuisine #HiddenGem #ChillVibes #DateNightLA #BrunchSpot #FoodieReview #LADining
