LA|Remember This Spot? It’s Reopening as a Flagship! 🥩🔥
Calling all long-time LA foodies—Baekjeong (Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong) is making a comeback! After closing its Chapman Plaza location in January 2024, the beloved Korean BBQ chain is reopening a massive new flagship just a few blocks away on 8th Street. Founded by Korean star Kang Ho-dong, Baekjeong has been a Ktown staple since 2012, known for its lively atmosphere, high-quality meats, and iconic lunch boxes that many of us still crave. The new spot will feature: 🔸 Classic BBQ sets – brisket, short rib, pork belly, and more, grilled right at your table. 🔸 Expanded menu – beef tartare, steamed egg, kimchi pancakes, and lunch specials like pork cutlet and knife-cut noodles. 🔸 Dry-aged meat display – a new highlight for meat lovers. 🔸 Full bar – soju, beer, wine, and upcoming cocktails. Designed by Sun Creative, the 6,500 sq ft space blends traditional hanok elements with Seoul night market vibes, plus a private room for 26 and a VIP entrance. Opening May 7! 📍 3429 W. Eighth Street, Los Angeles, CA 90005 ⏰ Open daily, until 2am Fri–Sat, midnight all other days. The memories (and those lunch boxes) are coming back—can’t wait! 🎉 #LAKoreanBBQ #Baekjeong #Ktown #GrandReopening #BBQLegend #LAFoodie #ThrowbackEats #NewFlagship
