🌵 First time at Inaba, and I was genuinely surprised! I usually don’t set my expectations too high for Michelin omakase, but this experience truly delighted me 🥹 🌾 Let’s talk ambiance: Inaba is set in an intimate suite within the restaurant, serving only one seating per night starting at 7:30 PM. The vibe is relaxed and chill, and the chef was smiling the whole time—so wholesome and warm! 🍶❤️ 🐟 The Uni Soba, a classic at Inaba, was absolutely delicious 😋. The chilled, refreshing broth paired with perfect uni created a sweet, rich, and aromatic burst of flavor in every bite. So satisfying—I literally drank every last drop of the broth and wished I could have another bowl! 🐠 Then came what might be the best Anglerfish Liver in LA—no exaggeration! It was incredibly creamy and fresh, melting right in your mouth. 🍣 The nigiri section was full of surprises too! Each piece of fish was cut to a generously satisfying thickness, and the vinegar rice was seasoned just right. It enhanced the natural flavors without overpowering them—though maybe I just love bold tastes, because I was totally obsessed! They also served three different types of uni throughout the night, each better than the last. But the real MVP of the evening was the Binchōtan-grinned Golden Eye Snapper—so aromatic and unforgettable! 🔥🐟 Overall, Inaba is hands-down the most worthwhile Michelin omakase experience in LA right now.
