LA|These Places Make Me Fall in Love with LA Again 💙🌴
Spent Christmas and New Year’s in LA—again. It’s the kind of city you can always return to for easy, sunny vibes. Here are a few spots I never get tired of: 1️⃣ Griffith Observatory A must for La La Land fans. Don’t miss the "Centered in the Universe" show—immersive, star-filled, and beautifully humbling. Arrive early, catch the show, then stay for sunset and city lights. 2️⃣ Getty Center More than an art museum—it’s an architectural masterpiece. Wander the white travertine buildings, see works by Monet and Van Gogh, relax in the Central Garden, and take in sweeping LA views. Download the Getty Guide app for audio stories. 3️⃣ Disneyland My fourth visit and still magical ✨. Who can say no to being a princess for a day? Favorite ride: Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! (Adventure Park). Wish I could ride it 100 times! 4️⃣ Santa Monica Stroll through quiet, palm-lined streets with boba tea, hit the pier for an amusement park pass, and ride the Ferris wheel as the sun sets. 🚲 Alternative route: Start at Venice Beach skate park, then walk/scooter back to Santa Monica along the scenic beach path. 5️⃣ Laguna Beach Escape the city and head south. Dana Point is quieter—try a whale-watching tour to see dolphins and migrating gray whales. A truly magical experience. 🏨 Hotel Pick Loved staying at Santa Monica Proper Hotel—designed by Kelly Wearstler, beautifully aesthetic, and perfectly located. Plus, Aesop bath amenities! #LosAngeles #LA #LaLaLand #GriffithObservatory #GettyCenter #Disneyland #SantaMonica #LagunaBeach #TravelLA #CaliforniaDreaming 🌅🎡
