π LA's Best Italian Food β Went Two Days in a Row
After I dragged my friend to Cento last time, he insisted I try his favorite Italian restaurant in LA: π Oste, Los Angeles My stomach (and the 4 lbs I gained in two days) is proof that this place deserves the title of LAβs best Italian spot!! The first night we got back from Malibu and arrived at 9:30 PM β three hungry wolves ordered five dishes. They came out fast β we cleaned every plate in about half an hour, too busy eating to even talk π. The next day I went back alone β the owner recognized me and sat me outside. Sunny afternoon, street view, pasta = perfect ππ. Hereβs everything I tried β all hits, no misses: Appetizers: π Sofia β mussels in white wine & garlic broth β super fresh and flavorful. π§ Burrata al Pesto β burrata with pea pesto β so refreshing for summer. π Grilled Octopus β really aromatic, even better without the purΓ©e underneath. π Raw Scallop β I always order scallop π β with orange slices, loved it! Mains: π Squid Ink Seafood Pasta β tomato-based with shrimp, mussels, baby octopus β so appetizing, devoured it! π Bolognese β classic carb satisfaction, never fails. π Prosciutto Pizza β topped with arugula, burrata, and prosciutto. The crust is uniquely crispy yet chewy β highly recommend their pizza! The servers were all super friendly. This is the kind of place you want to return to β great for showing visiting friends or a cute date π.
