LA's Dunsmoor 🥣 | Small Restaurant with Impressive Dishes!

Tried it twice—first time without a reservation, only got appetizers. Overall highly recommended, but keep expectations realistic—it has minor flaws. Sharing my thoughts below! This place feels like a neighborhood spot where old friends gather with their own drinks. The space is small: restaurant up front, tiny bar in the back. Feels like a reunion, but it’s very loud—long shared tables, shouting to talk. Not ideal for dates. 😅 ⚠️ Fully booked beyond belief—reserve a week ahead on weekdays. Don’t count on walking in! Use OpenTable. Dunsmoor 📍 3501 Eagle Rock Blvd, Los Angeles 🌟🌟🌟 Bluefin Tuna – A simple dish that shows skill. Sauce and cilantro highlight the fish without overpowering it. 🌟🌟🌟 Chopped Chicken Liver – Topped with crispy onions—creamy with crunch. Perfect with bread! 🌟🌟🌟 Potted Gribenes – Chicken skin like cracklings + crispy onions. Unique! A bit oily alone—best with bread. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beef Ribeye – Incredible milky flavor with charcoal smokiness. Comes with bone marrow—rich and satisfying! 🌟🌟 Pork Chop – One side fatty, one side chewy. Personal preference—I liked the middle. Aged, with deep dairy notes. 🌟🌟 Milk Cornbread – Salty first, then sweet corn flavor. Soaked in milk/syrup—dense outside, soft inside. 🌟🌟 Kobe Beef Tartare – With fried oyster and veggies. Balanced, but not mind-blowing. ⭐️⭐️ Braised Greens – Tastes like preserved mustard greens—salty, but perfect with pork chop! Guys liked the meat mains more (rich, hearty), while girls found some cuts too fatty. #LifeCantBeatThoseWhoEatHeartily #Inspiration #LosAngeles #LALife #LAFun #LAEats #LAFoodReview #DTLA #USC #UCLA #LARestaurants #LA #LAFood #HiddenGem #ComfortFood
