LA's Must-Try Healing Dessert & Alfresco Dining Spot 🌸🍯

After watching Chef José Andrés on Netflix's Chef's Table, I was completely captivated by his culinary philosophy! 🎬 I immediately searched for his restaurants in LA and discovered San Laurel, located inside the DTLA Conrad Hotel! 🏨 As soon as you step inside, you’ll be greeted by semi-private cocoon-like booths that are super cozy , and a stunning view of the Walt Disney Concert Hall 🎭—making the ambiance absolutely perfect ✨. I originally came for Spanish cuisine, but little did I know—this place is actually a Spanish restaurant secretly amazing at desserts! This time I tried their PRE-FIXE LUNCH SET 🍽️: It includes four tapas + one main course. The portions were more generous than expected, and each dish was beautifully layered in flavor . The price is pretty reasonable for this area! ✨ MUST-HIGHLIGHT: THE DESSERT Their current pastry chef is Chinese 👩‍🍳🍊, and she totally understands how to balance sweetness for the Asian palate— not overly heavy, incredibly refined in texture, every bite was pure elegance 💖. As a serious dessert lover, I was completely won over! 🐜 Save this spot, girls—next time you’re in LA and craving dessert, you’ll have a new go-to! 🤩📌 🌸 San Laurel 📍 100 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012, United States #InspoWorthySpot #LosAngelesEats #DateNightRecommendation #AlfrescoDining #FoodHealsEverything #LADessertSpot #LAMichelinEats #StudyAbroadLife #CityWalkLA #LAMustEat
