LA + Palm Springs Hotel Reviews (Personal Take!) šŸØāœØ

Spent Christmas on a staycation in LA and Palm Springs—tried a different hotel each night. Here’s my honest breakdown: 1. LA Downtown Intercontinental āœ… Amazing views! Lobby on the 70th floor, 73rd has an observation deck + rooftop dining. Sunset over the ocean + mountain views. āŒ Annoying elevator transfers (lobby at 70, then down to room). Strong elevator drop/ear popping. Bedding felt cheap for a 5-star. Noise from the highway + sirens at night. 2. LA Downtown Conrad āœ… Great location across from Walt Disney Concert Hall. Walkable to The Broad, MOCA, and downtown sights. Felt safe. Breakfast at San Laurel was delicious (loved the mushroom scramble & caviar yogurt!). āŒ Also requires elevator transfer to lobby first. 3. Two Bunch Palms, Palm Springs āœ… Peaceful adults-only hot springs retreat in the desert. Private casita-style rooms, multiple outdoor mineral pools (some palm-shaded, no reservation needed—my fave!). Very quiet and secluded. āŒ Check in before dark—paths are poorly lit. Rooms are basic. No free drinking water (paid $10/bottle—bring your own!). 4. āš ļø AVOID: Grand Hyatt Palm Springs Terrible experience—someone banged on our door at 3 AM for 3+ minutes. Security took 5+ mins to arrive, and the front desk was rude, saying it was ā€œnormal.ā€ Never again! 😤 #LosAngelesHotels #PalmSpringsHotels #HotelReviews #Staycation #TravelTips #HotSprings #LuxuryStays #AvoidThese šŸœļøšŸš«
