LA / Irvine Deliciousness: Michellin-Star Chef’s Amazing Steakhouse 🥩
📍 CUT by Wolfgang Puck 9500 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90212 Beverly Hills is truly a food paradise — packed with incredible restaurants perfect for celebrating special occasions. Today we tried CUT, known for its premium steaks served with four signature sauces. We ordered our steaks medium-rare — the best way to appreciate the chef’s searing skills and the meat’s natural flavor. Normally, they present a raw meat selection tableside for guests to choose from. Due to pandemic precautions, that service was paused, but our server kindly arranged for the chef to show us our two selected cuts — a special treat! 🍞 Bread service included four types (only three pictured). The round rolls were perfectly chewy and seasoned, while the long crispbread was topped with strong seasoning — a bit intense for me. The sauce included truffle specks — elegant touch. 🥩 We ordered: 14oz 35-day dry-aged rib eye 9oz American Wagyu rib eye Since we shared, the chef pre-sliced them for us. The flavor was indescribable — rich, tender, juicy, with just the right chew. We’ve had Japanese Wagyu at Spago before — it’s more decadent and crisp-edged but also richer. The 35-day dry-aged was absolute perfection — melts in your mouth! For first-timers, I’d recommend trying both Japanese Wagyu and 35-day dry-aged, both medium-rare. 🍓 Dessert: Strawberry shortcake — generous portion with plum ice cream between crisp layers. The pastry was okay, but the ice cream was tangy-sweet, and the strawberry-raspberry sauce was delightful — a very feminine, tasty finish. ☕ We also had cappuccino with double chocolate cookies (not pictured) — rich coffee paired with soft, bittersweet cocoa cookies. Worth ordering separately if you visit! 🎂 Since it was my birthday, they surprised us with two complimentary petit fours — such a lovely touch! #LAFood #Steakhouse #MichelinDining #BeverlyHills #DateNight #BirthdayDinner #Wagyu
