LA | Élephante Sunset Rice Bowl 🌄
Came to LA and my friend had everything planned out. Having a belated birthday dinner watching the sunset at the restaurant was a full experience. 🧀|Burrata•24 I must have been a burrata lover in my past life. I always order it at Italian restaurants, whether it’s sweet or savory, it goes so well with burrata. This time it came with cherry tomatoes and peaches, and I really loved it. The only downside was the bread, which was just okay. 🍝|Gemelli•28 The squid ink pasta only seemed to serve the purpose of changing color. The tomato sauce was tangy with a hint of spice, and I really enjoyed this. The crab meat was scattered throughout. 🐚|Diver Scallop•34 The scallops were very fresh and cooked to perfection, tender on the inside. However, they didn’t have the sweetness of Vancouver scallops. Each scallop was quite large, but the white sauce with caviar was too salty. I couldn’t taste the citrus butter at all. 🥭|Pavlova•12 The first bite made me understand why it’s paired with passion fruit. Only its tartness can balance out the overly sweet white chocolate mousse. The ice cream itself wasn’t sweet, and its coolness enhanced the texture. Make sure to get a bit of everything in one spoonful; if something’s missing, it’s not as good. 💲Average per person•60 USD #LA #losangeles #LosAngeles #LosAngelesFood #LosAngelesItalianRestaurant #elephante #RecordingMyLifeMoments #LifeLogging
