LA | Cozy Ramen & Sweet Inari Sushi 🍜
Who would’ve thought this unassuming ramen shop would offer such variety—from rich broths and flavorful mazesoba to inari sushi and a $4 curry rice bowl?! Located near Pasadena and Arcadia, it’s perfect for a quick weekday bite or a comforting weekend meal. 🍜 Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen As the weather cools down, nothing beats a warm, savory bowl of ramen. The tonkotsu broth was rich and deeply flavored with a gentle kick of spice. The noodles had a nice chew, the chashu was tender and fragrant, and the soft-boiled egg was perfectly runny. 🍝 Mazesoba (Brothless Ramen) Loaded with toppings! A soft-boiled egg sat in the center, and when mixed with the thick noodles and slightly sweet sauce, every bite was pure satisfaction. 🍛 $4 Curry Rice We added a small curry rice bowl to our order—and it was anything but small! The curry had that classic Japanese vegetable curry flavor—mild, comforting, and perfect for when you want to try a bit of everything (like me!). 🍘 Inari Sushi Platter Four delicious varieties: crab stick, tamago, chashu, and grilled beef. The inari (sweet fried tofu pouches) were perfectly seasoned, and my favorites were the tamago and grilled beef fillings! Whether you're craving a steaming bowl of ramen, a hearty curry, or a light sushi snack, this humble spot delivers flavor and value in every dish. 👩💻 By day, I’m a data scientist in tech; by night, a foodie sharing hidden gems across LA and the Bay.
