LA | Crudo e Nudo: Food So Pretty, It’s Almost Unreal 😍
Strolling around Santa Monica and soaking in the quintessential LA vibes (yes, that might sound redundant, but you get it). This little spot is full of charm—everyone here is effortlessly cool, embracing that signature relaxed energy even in such a prime location. Just be prepared for a long, leisurely meal—it’s all part of the experience. ⏳🌴 This is beautiful food, period. The presentation is stunning—I was honestly mesmerized. The oysters varied strikingly in texture: larger ones were pleasantly chewy, while the smaller ones were soft and almost creamy. The lemon oil dressing was a clever touch, enhancing the briny seawater notes without any overwhelming fishiness. 🦪✨ The squid ink rice was rich and glossy—a bit indulgent if eaten alone, but its playful flavor and generous crispy bottom layer gave it an almost claypot rice comfort. And the caviar “nacho”? Absolutely breathtaking. Even the chives (which I usually avoid) won me over. Each flavor stood out yet harmonized perfectly—so much so that I couldn’t stop eating it. (Already planning to recreate it at home—with extra avocado, of course.) 🥑💫 Another happy, flavor-filled weekend in the books. #Food #LifeAbroad #LAEats #HiddenGems #CreativeCuisine #FoodAsArt #FoodArtist #SoCalLife #StudentRecipes #SantaMonica
