LA | Crudo e Nudo | Why Is This Dish So Beautiful? 😍

Strolled over to Santa Monica — seeing the very “LA” side of LA (wait, is that a tautology? 🤔). This little spot is pretty interesting — everyone is super, super chill. Total laid-back vibes in such a prime location. Be prepared for a long, leisurely meal. 🍽️ This is pretty food in its purest form — I’m honestly in awe. 🦪 The oysters — large vs. small are completely different textures. Large: chewy and firm. Small: soft, almost glutinous. Lemon oil pairing was intriguing — briny but not fishy, a flavor I’ve never had before. 🦑 Squid ink rice — rich and glossy, can get heavy but the flavor profile is lovely. Lots of crispy rice at the bottom, like a seafood claypot rice. 🥑 Caviar “nacho” — mind-blowingly beautiful. Even the chives inside were forgivable 😂 Flavors were clever — each ingredient stood out yet blended perfectly. Couldn’t stop eating (already planning to make a home version with extra avocado!).
