Laguna Beach has no shortage of ocean-view spots, but so many prioritize scenery over flavor—Larsen’s included (pretty, but not tasty enough for this food-obsessed soul!). A friend insisted Driftwood was the exception, so I gave it a try during a seaside stroll. And she was right—it’s delicious! Though it may not be the most Instagrammable, the food truly delivers. 📸✨ The Thai-style shrimp were plump, springy, and packed with bright, zesty flavor. The scallops came with a heavenly side of mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, and spinach—so savory and satisfying. 🥔🧈 Even the lobster pasta won me over with its creamy, non-greasy white sauce. Sometimes, you have to choose between a pretty picture and a truly great meal.
