I never expected a Michelin-starred steakhouse to win me over with… fried potatoes. But these duck-fat potatoes were truly incredible—crispy, golden, and impossibly fragrant. Almost embarrassing to admit, but they completely stole the show. 😅🍟 The steak was excellent, too—personally preferred over Matu. I love a deeply caramelized crust with a tender, juicy interior, and Gwen delivered exactly that. They use a unique method: sear one side for 15 minutes, rest, then sear the other side—resulting in beautiful Maillard reaction without overcooking. 🔥🥩 But back to those potatoes. Seriously, everyone needs to try them—crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, richly seasoned.
