Never thought I’d be conquered by a bowl of potatoes at a Michelin-starred steakhouse — but these duck-fat fried potatoes are unreal! So crispy, fragrant, irresistible… Kind of embarrassing to admit a potato side stole the show 😂 🥩 The steak was indeed excellent — personally prefer it over Matu. I like when the outside gets a good sear (hello, Maillard reaction!) while staying tender inside. Heard Gwen uses a unique method: 15 minutes on one side, rest, then 15 minutes on the other — interesting!
