Honestly, my understanding of Guizhou food comes entirely from recent online buzz, and trendy LA was quick to catch on 🌶️✨ I’ve always heard that Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan cuisines are like siblings, but their spicy flavors are actually quite distinct! This meal even had a subtle sweetness to it—a fresh and delightful experience with so many new, aromatic dishes I’d never tried before 😋 The sour soup with bullfrog is a must-order—every table seemed to have it! 🐸🍲 Our table was too small for the original pot, so they served it in a different container (other tables had these gorgeous, stylish bowls that matched the restaurant’s chic vibe perfectly). And can we talk about the interior? Compared to other Chinese restaurants in LA, the design here is absolutely stunning! 🏮💫 Every potato dish was incredibly delicious—I couldn’t even name them all, but I kept devouring them anyway 🥔🔥 The potato pancake with its fragrant, spicy seasoning and the wok-fried potato nuggets were so addictive, we finished them while chatting without even realizing it!
