LA | Highway 395 Series: Chasing Fall Colors at Mammoth Lakes 🍁🏔️

Mammoth Lakes is a stunning area containing several smaller lakes! 🗺️ My first visit felt a bit overwhelming trying to navigate, but this time I planned a route in advance, which made the experience so much smoother and more enjoyable! 😊✨ Here’s the itinerary I followed: Starting from Mammoth town, we drove into Lake Mary Road and visited the lakes in this order: a) Twin Lakes 📍 Twin Lakes Vista | 37°37'09.5"N 119°00'25.9"W This spot is near Tamarack Lodge & Resort. There's a small lakeside parking lot—get out of the car facing a cute little bridge. You can walk along the left or right shore for gorgeous views! 🌉🍂 Has anyone else visited Twin Lakes? Share below! 👇 b) Lake Mamie 📍 Lake Mamie Vista Point | Twin Falls Overlook (these two are close together) A perfect pair for breathtaking views and refreshing vibes! 💙 c) Horseshoe Lake Worth a quick stop—simple but pretty! 👍 d) Lake George We hiked up Crystal Lake Trail, which took about 3.5 hours round trip to reach Crystal Lake. 🥾💦 Alternatively, you can walk just 30 minutes uphill for an amazing overlook of Lake George! The view from above is absolutely spectacular! 😍 Have you tried this hike? How was your experience? e) Lake Mary I’ve heard Lake Mary is the ultimate spot for sunset and golden hour views! 🌅 Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay this time due to schedule constraints.
