Literally a beef-focused restaurant. Saw on Instagram that Matuโs cattle are raised exceptionally well โ 100% grass-fed. Too bad Iโm no beef connoisseur,๐๐ but my dining buddy was thrilled, so the quality must be legit. Even tried the shrimp out of curiosity โ so bland. Just stick to beef here. ๐ฅฉ The beef tartare was pretty uneventful โ maybe to let the beef shine? No off-flavors, justโฆ meh. Lately, beef tartares everywhere have been boring โ miss Smoni (no comparison, I know!). The beef itself is top-notch โ special add-ons were especially tender.โค๏ธ๐ ๐ท The wine pairings were solid, too. Small tip: Skip the tasting menu โ gets heavy. Order ร la carte instead.
