As a Michelin-starred gem in LA, Maude is surprisingly under-hyped — and I won’t stand for it! Scoring a reservation wasn’t too tricky — I booked just a week ahead. Abalone with crispy rice cake — a subtle East-meets-West moment. Even the caviar course had a thoughtful vegan version using house-marinated seeds — impressive attention to detail. Desserts are served in a separate room — a sweet finale (literally). A bit sugary for me, but my sweet-toothed friend adored it.
