LA | MB Post: The Legendary No.1 Biscuit 🏆

Originally planned to dine at the seafood spot next door, but the wait was too long. Since they’re sister restaurants and both Michelin-noted, I decided to give MB Post a try. I’d seen endless praise for their biscuit online and was skeptical—especially since I usually don’t enjoy dense baked goods like scones. But wow, was I blown away. It was incredibly fragrant with rich butter flavor, filled with large ham pieces and fresh scallions that reminded me of scallion pancakes—no dryness, just pure savory delight. 🧈✨ The mussels were another pleasant surprise—Thai-inspired but not quite curry or tom yum. The green, creamy broth was herbaceous and aromatic, served with sticky rice to soak up every drop. 🥣🌿 If anyone knows what that flavor profile is called, please tell me! Overall, a happy accident—sometimes the unexpected finds turn out to be the most memorable. #LifeAbroad #Food #HiddenGems #ComfortFood #LAEats #LADiningGuide #AmericanFood #FlavorExplosion #StudentEats #SafeOrder
