LA | Newly Opened Chaozhou Restaurant | Food Exploration in LA 🍽️

A rather complicated lunch experience. I went specifically for the Longjiang Braised Pork Rice, a signature dish from Shenzhen. The pork itself was fine, but there wasn’t even a side of vegetables—just average, neither particularly good nor particularly bad. The real issue was the kway teow (rice noodles). It was really not good. All three of my friends ordered it, and they only finished about a third of their portions. 😕 The restaurant was fully packed at noon. I noticed other tables ordering stir-fried dishes, which might be their specialty. However, I also saw neighboring tables who had ordered the kway teow barely touching theirs.
