LA | Refined Japanese Cuisine โจ โ Uni Pasta & Kumamoto Oysters ๐ฎ
Visited Chino to see the breathtaking rapeseed flower fields ๐ผ and discovered a nearby Japanese spot serving Kumamoto oysters โ so fresh and sweet! ๐ฆช Kumamoto Oysters with Uni Havenโt seen Kumamoto oysters anywhere else in LA! Served with fresh uni and salmon roe โ one bite and I was speechless. The oyster had a delicate, jelly-like texture with pure sweetness. ๐ Uni Cream Udon Tried a similar dish at Miyabi Uni before, but this version had real wok hei (breath of the wok)! The creamy sauce coated every strand of udon โ rich but not heavy, perfectly seasoned. Finished it in no time! ๐ Ootoro Tuna Spoon Fatty tuna belly topped with uni and ikura โ similar to the oyster combo, but who can resist ootoro? Silky smooth with that luxurious fattiness. ๐ Curry Omurice I only love Japanese-style curry! Soft potatoes and carrots simmered in flavorful sauce, paired with fluffy, tender egg-wrapped rice. Every bite was pure happiness! ๐ฃ 8-Piece Sushi Set Includes sweet shrimp, salmon, scallop, yellowtail, and various tuna cuts โ all incredibly fresh. The salmon was especially fatty and delicious! We left completely stuffed for just over $50 per person ๐ฅน. Kumamoto oysters might be a special โ not sure if theyโll always be available, but Iโm obsessed! ๐ ๐ด Restaurant: Bengee Sushi If youโre in Chino, donโt miss the stunning rapeseed fields โ and this hidden gem! ๐จ๐ป By day, Iโm a data scientist in tech โ a 10-year international student who loves sharing hidden food gems across LA and the Bay.
