I’d always heard good things about Yuen, and finally got to try it. Maybe it’s the season, but the fish portions felt modest—though each piece came with a little “ID photo” of the catch, which was a charming touch. 🐟📸 Winter might bring richer selections, but even without the heaviest cuts, the care and creativity shone through. The appetizers were thoughtful and delicious—especially the uni-glazed prawn, which truly lived up to its reputation. Tuna was just okay, not particularly memorable. The chef noticed my friend had visited before and offered us a taste of sparkling water with the perfect, delicate bubble—unexpectedly delightful! 💦❤️ But the highlight was the futomaki we added at the end—massive, almost comically large, like a “sushi burrito” before it was sliced. 🥢🌯 And it ended up being on the house! The chef had a great vibe—skilled, playful, and generous.
