LA | The Coffee Shop I Went to for Three Weeks Straight ☕️
This shop is tucked away in a small plaza with limited parking, so I usually end up street parking (if I’m lucky 🫠). They also have self-service kiosks, which are handy when it’s busy. ☕️My go-to order is the Ube Latte, and I highly recommend adding the Ube Cream Foam. Personally, I think it’s even better than the Ube Latte at Wall Writers. ☕️I’ve also tried their Pandan Latte (apparently made with pandan leaves) and the Sage Cheese Croissant. I wish the layers in the croissant were more distinct, but the sage flavor was surprisingly reminiscent of scallion pancakes. Honestly, I’ve always thought sage, which I use as a home fragrance, belongs in savory dishes. The taste was refreshing, though I can’t quite put my finger on what it reminded me of. (These were my impressions from previous visits—I used to highly recommend this place, haha. But today, maybe because it was too crowded or I forgot to ask for less sugar, the coffee tasted a bit weak 🙂. Still, if you live nearby or are passing by, it’s worth a try!) ☕️The next day, I tried the Matcha Ube Coffee, which feels like one of their signature drinks. The color is beautiful and super photogenic, and the flavor is nostalgic, like the taro taste from childhood. Their matcha is also excellent—while waiting for my coffee, I watched the barista whisk the matcha, which was pretty fun to see. #LACoffee #LAFoodExploration #Coffee #FailedAtLatteArt #CoffeeRoutine
