LA | Weekend Brunch & Strolls in the Sun 🥞
Met up with friends at this charming Ukrainian brunch spot—so relaxing to enjoy a morning meal outdoors under the sunshine! 🥞 Passion Fruit Mango Pancakes The sauce was fresh and fruity, with a lovely blend of passion fruit and mango flavors. The pancakes were on the thicker, fluffier side, topped with pretty strawberries and blueberries. 🥓 Steak & Eggs The beef was flavorful but slightly overcooked for my taste. The sauce in the middle was unique—maybe a Ukrainian specialty?—and quite tasty. 🍳 Humshuka (Hummus-based Shakshuka) I had to order this when I saw it on the menu! Creamy hummus served as the base, topped with tangy tomatoes 🍅 and a sprinkle of cilantro (not my favorite, but easy to skip). A fun, flavorful twist on a classic. 🍵 Dragon Fruit Matcha & Coffee The dragon fruit cream made for a gorgeous photo, though flavor-wise, it didn’t taste much different from regular matcha. A lovely spot that balances looks and taste—but it gets busy! We arrived at 1 PM and waited almost 40 minutes. Try coming earlier or making a reservation. 🅿️ Parking Tip: Street parking is available in nearby residential areas. After eating, explore the cute local shops around Beverly! 👩💻 By day, I’m a data scientist in tech; by night, a foodie sharing hidden gems across LA and the Bay.
