LA | Xinjiang Food So Good, Even My Xinjiang Friend Approves! ❤️

As someone who absolutely adores Xinjiang cuisine, I was thrilled when a friend from Xinjiang introduced me to this gem! It’s become our go-to spot for gatherings, and we often order takeout from here 🥡. In my book, it’s easily the top Xinjiang restaurant in LA ☝🏼. Over the years, I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, so here are my must-order recommendations—dishes that never disappoint! 😙 ✔️ Big Plate Chicken (Da Pan Ji) A hearty, shareable dish that’s always a crowd-pleaser! Tender chicken and melt-in-your-mouth potatoes, served with hand-pulled noodles that soak up all the rich flavors. One bite, and you’ll be speechless! 👍🏼 ✔️ Samsa (Baked Buns) A traditional Xinjiang snack with a twist—these buns are baked in a clay oven until the crust turns golden and flaky. Stuffed with seasoned beef and onions, they’re so fragrant and juicy, you won’t be able to resist going back for more! 🤤 ✔️ Kebab Noodle (Cold Noodles with Grilled Meat) If you’re craving something refreshing, this is it! 💁🏻‍♀️ Cool, chewy noodles topped with cucumber strips, cumin-spiced grilled meat, and a tangy sauce. The sweet and sour flavors are perfect for LA’s eternal summer! ✔️ Uyghur Polo (Lamb Pilaf) Carbs have never been more comforting 😭. The lamb is incredibly tender, and the carrots and onions add a subtle sweetness that makes this dish unforgettable. One try, and you’ll be hooked! 😍 ✔️ Laghman (Hand-Pulled Noodles) Loaded with fresh vegetables and chewy, hand-pulled noodles, this dish is a texture lover’s dream. Make sure to mix everything well so every strand of noodle is coated in the savory sauce! ✔️ Homemade Yogurt So good, it deserves its own spotlight!! Creamy and thick, almost like Greek yogurt, it’s served with honey and crunchy nuts. I can easily finish half a bowl before the main course even arrives 😗. 🏠:Dolan‘s Uyghur Cuisine 📍:18920 Gale Ave, Rowland Heights, CA 91748 #LosAngeles #LAFood #XinjiangCuisine #LAEats #UyghurFood #MustTryLA #ComfortFood #FoodieHeaven #AsianCuisine #HiddenGems
