LA 🌴 | Fig's Corner – A USC Go-To for Hot Pot, Skewers & Snacks 🍢🔥
This is my third visit this semester—tried their skewers, hot pots, and desserts, and no disappointments yet! 📍 Fig's Corner 3009 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90007 📏 11-minute walk / 3-minute drive from USC Village 💰 ~$25 per person (reasonable, and the lowest suggested tip is 10% 🙌) 🅿️ Free parking in the plaza (can be tight during peak hours), or street parking nearby. 🍲 Hot Pot Favorites Tried: Sichuan Spicy, Golden Soup Beef, Kimchi, Tomato Beef ✅ Golden Soup Beef Pot – My top pick! Rich and savory. (The Sichuan version wasn’t very spicy and oddly had tomato? 🍅) 🍢 Skewers Highlights: Grilled Chives, Orleans Chicken Wings, Pork Belly Skewers, Lamb Skewers, Cabbage Okay: Cheese Corn (just fine). 🍗 Snacks Recommend: Chicken Skeleton (Jī Jià), Popcorn Chicken, Taro & Sweet Potato Balls (The sweet potato balls might be frozen, but they’re so tasty—wanted to ask for the brand! 😆) 🥤 Bubble Tea – Tasted a bit powdery; wouldn’t recommend. Perfect for a casual post-class meal, group hangout, or when you’re craving something hot, savory, and satisfying near campus. Already planning my next visit! 📚✨ #LAEats #USCFood #FigsCorner #HotPot #Skewers #AsianComfort #StudentEats #LAFoodie #QuickBites #CampusEats
