LA Affordable Solo Dining (1) 🧍♀️🍽️
Octopus leg + duck confit pumpkin risotto — $72.43 including tax (tip at your discretion). The complimentary bread came in three varieties: raisin bread, a soft and slightly salty white bread, and a coarser, chewier sourdough. All dipped beautifully in olive oil 🫒. Service was a bit slow—I nearly finished all the bread before the mains arrived! 😅 🐙 Octopus Leg – Not huge in portion, but packed with flavor. Served with celery, garlic cloves, olives, crispy potato slices, cherry tomatoes, arugula, purple potato crisps, and more. Seasoning was fragrant and well-balanced. Eating a bit of everything in one bite offered a wonderful mix of textures—crunchy, tender, and chewy. Really satisfying! 🦆 Pumpkin Risotto with Duck Confit – The duck skin was crispy and the meat tender, though the seasoning reminded me a bit of Chinese marinated duck (in a good way!). Portion-wise, if I hadn’t filled up on bread, I could’ve finished it all comfortably (note: I’m not a big eater). 📍 Drago Centro 525 Flower St, Los Angeles, CA 90071 📝 This visit was during dinner in early December 2025. I’ve been eating solo a lot lately and wanted to document some good spots.
