Came to Torrance with friends for some errands and stumbled upon this place—we rushed in like hungry tigers 🐯! Overall, the flavor, service speed, and service were all great! When we left, the server even said " (thank you) in Chinese—so nice! 😄 The dining environment was pleasant, though the four-person tables were a bit narrow and tight—even for small-framed folks sitting side by side. We ordered a bunch—here are some tasty or unique highlights: 🐟 Yellow Tail Sashimi – Rich and buttery, so tender! Paired with raw shishito pepper for a nice crunch—highly recommend. 🫓 Okonomiyaki – Not on the menu, but we asked and they made it from their hidden menu! Decent and satisfying. 🌶️ Shishito Pepper Yakitori – So fragrant and not too spicy—lightly charred skin adds great aroma. 🍆 Agedashi Eggplant – Super soft eggplant in dashi broth with garlic(?) radish paste, ginger, and bonito flakes—a flavor explosion in one bite! 🦑 Gesokara – Crispy fried squid legs with lemon juice and mayo—so refreshing and delicious. 🍛 Pork Curry – Lean pork cutlet with mildly rich curry—a safe and tasty main choice. 🍄 Shiitake – Juicy grilled mushrooms—love, love, love! The rice vinegar with yuzu sauce is highly recommended—pairs perfectly with fried items and skewers. They use real charcoal grilling, which explains the incredible aroma and flavor.
