LA Buffet Series 1 – 🍲 Mo-Mo-Paradise

I’ve been wanting to round up some great LA restaurants, starting with buffets! First up: the hot pot AYCE spot Mo-Mo-Paradise. They have three locations in LA β€” I visited the Rowland Heights branch. Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 βœ… Pros: Great meat quality β€” looks fresh and appetizing. Beef ranges from well-marbled to lean. Veggies, noodles, rice, meatballs, and sauces are self-serve, while meat is ordered from servers (but comes out fast!). Free ice cream β€” pretty tasty! Limited meat variety β€” only 4 types (3 beef, 1 pork). No seafood, and not many meatball options. Broths are just okay β€” Shabu-Shabu is very mild, Sukiyaki is quite salty. Didn’t get a raw egg unless I asked. (Haven’t tried tonkotsu or tomato yet.) Drinks now cost extra β€” $2.55 for unlimited soda/boba (used to be included). 18% service charge automatically added β€” feels a bit forceful πŸ˜… πŸ“Œ Note: Still reservation-only (no walk-ins). Weekends are $29.95/person (check website for updated pricing). #LosAngeles #LA #LAfood #Buffet #HotPotBuffet #MoMoParadise #LABuffet #JapaneseHotPot
